Tonsillectomy

A Tonsillectomy surgery is the removal of the tonsils.

Tonsils are two oval shaped tissues at the back of the throat.

White blood cells help fight infection, but sometimes the tonsils themselves become infected and cause more issues.

Some patients may need to get tonsillectomy in case of persistent health issues such as:

  • Swollen tonsils cause difficulty swallowing and breathing.
  • Snoring and sleep apnea.
  • Bleeding tonsils.

Consult our physicians for you and your child in case of such issues.
